ARCUS Research is a self-directed residency program offering uninterrupted time and a contemplative environment for creative experimentation, in-depth fieldwork, and research. The program welcomes not only artists but also curators, researchers, writers, and other practitioners in the cultural field to engage in creative discourses and activities. Located just an hour from Tokyo and near Mt. Tsukuba, ARCUS Research provides a tranquil setting and workspace where participants can reflect and deepen their creative process. Tyler School of Art
Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia is a leader in educating artists since the early 1930s. Tyler is ranked among the top 10 MFA programs in Painting and Sculpture by U.S. News and World Report. The MFA Program at the Tyler School of Art is a two-year, full-time, studio-based program rooted in a rich history within a globally influenced, culturally diverse and technologically advancing world. The Ilya and Emilia Kabakov Fellowship is an honorary award established in 2012 in honor of the Russian-born, American-based artists Ilya and Emilia Kabakov. The fellowship will be awarded to a Tyler School of Art student from the Sculpture Department completing an MFA degree whose achievement has been recognized as demonstrating extraordinary promise in any area of artistic practice.
