A welcoming environment with a strong sense of community, PAFA offers a fine arts education like no other. 

For more than 200 years, PAFA has been recognized for its talented faculty of working artists, its one-on-one student mentoring, and its world-renowned museum that serves as an exceptional resource for student learning and an esteemed exhibition space to show their own work.

In addition to PAFA's celebrated undergraduate and graduate programs, two exciting new options for students are a Low-Residency MFA and a Fine Arts Illustration major.

Studio arts training at PAFA provides the foundational skills, intellectual context, discipline and mentoring for a lifetime of making art. We encourage you to learn more about the unrivaled legacy of artmaking at PAFA, whose alumni range from Thomas Eakins and Mary Cassatt to Njideka Akunyili Crosby and David Lynch.

Summer 2016 admission 
Low-Residency Master of Fine Arts: December 15
Fall 2016 admission 
Master of Fine Arts: January 15
Post-Baccalaureate: March 15
BFA, coordinated BFA with Penn, and Certificate: December 1 (early action) or February 15 (regular decision)
