CALL FOR APPLICATIONS ARCUS Research Winter 2027 We are pleased to announce the open call for ARCUS Research Winter 2027. ARCUS Research is a self-directed residency program offering uninterrupted time and a contemplative environment for creative experimentation, in-depth fieldwork, and research. The program welcomes not only artists but also curators, researchers, writers, and other practitioners in the cultural field to engage in creative discourses and activities. Located just an hour from Tokyo and near Mt. Tsukuba, ARCUS Research provides a tranquil setting and workspace where participants can reflect and deepen their creative process. Courses led by different professors, depending on the subjects you choose

Objective
Courses train managers and entrepreneurs for creative economy segments such as Fashion, Cinema, Video, Photography, Visual Art and Design. Classroom time may range from 90 to 230 hours, depending on your availability.

About the courses 
Our innovative educational program provides personalized education. Students may choose any subject they are interested in and compile a personalized schedule to match their professional objectives. 

You build your course by choosing subjects that interest you together with one of the school's mentors. Classes may be scheduled mornings, evenings, nights or Saturdays to fit your own schedule and pocket.

Become a fully rounded-out professional by devising your program based on your own priorities and learning requirements. Choose courses with lectures or talks, workshops and themes taught by the professors you want and at the times that suit you—mornings, evenings, nights and/or Saturdays—total hours from 90 to 230.
