Christie’s Education is accepting applications for degree programs beginning in September 2016. Art, Law and Business, a new full-time program, is designed to equip both recent college graduates and professionals looking to change or advance their careers with the skills and knowledge that are in high demand in the commercial art market. Students gain access to many different aspects and professionals active in the commercial art world, guided by an experienced faculty through the important ethical and legal aspects of working in the commercial art world while also deepening their appreciation of art history.

Venturing beyond typical arts administration graduate programs, this program combines real world experience through an internship, a trip to a major international art event such as Art Basel, and project-driven exercises to give students the transferable skills they need to make a smooth transition into the professional art world. The intensive program takes only 15 months to complete and concludes with the completion of a capstone project and a 45-day internship to help students launch their professional careers in auction houses, galleries or fairs, as well as nonprofit institutions, in positions such as sale manager, business manager, business intelligence and strategy, client services, or marketing. The program is fully accredited by the New York State Board of Regents.

The applications season is open for all degree programs:
